pop-up one component controller from another component controller

Hi All,

I have query regarding SAP Wendynpro Application.

My Requirement is as follows:

1. I have one webdynpro component for shipment details which will give all the shipment related data.

2. I have another Webdynpro component same for shipment but here it will update that particular shipment, means it will check whether the shipment has been end or not, if its not done then it will update that shipment from previous webdynpro component.

So i want to merge these two components but in first component i will put a button, which will trigger the second component but in another window not in same window.

Please help me out with this case.

HI Gourav,

To merge two components.

1. Define the using component in used component

For example: contact is comp 1(Using component) and registration is comp2(used component)

In the component page under Used components: enter default name under component use and Name of the component:Using component under component.

2. Do you mean. you enter some shipment info in comp1 and on action of a button comp2 should be triggered and opened as a pop up.
