Questions regarding ATP and special procurement key

Hi,

Actually I am SAP PP consultant. Untill now we are using only APO DP. Now I am doing the feasibility of using other componenets. In this regard, I am having few question... Could you help me in this regard.

1. Can we transfer the special procurement key? ... like Production in other plant, Procurement from other plant etc.

2. Can we do the ATP check of PRTs while doing the production order scheduling and releasing in APO?

Hi,

Here are the answers for your questions,

1. Yes, we can transfer the special procurement keys to APO. They will be transferred automatically when you transfer your master data like materials, production versions to APO.

2. You cant do any production execution activities like release, confirmation, etc., in APO. But we can model the PRT scheduling in APO while planning. Please refer the below thread for similar question,

Hi Nag,

All SPKs' are not supported like withdrawal from alt plant etc. You may refer note 619976.
