hello Gurus,

There is a problem in the preventive maintenance plan. I defined a preventive maintenance plan, and set the schedule period 10 days, cycle unit is 5 days and start date is 12 days ago. To my understanding, if I schedule this plan, there will be only two calls.

But system called more that 2. Is there any misunderstanding?

Hi,

I believe u may get 4 to 5 calls when u schedule in IP10. The reason is Scheduling period takes the system date as base for calculation of future calls as per the call cycle.

U can check by putting the start date in past, todays date, future date and observe how it behaves ..

hello,

yes, when you save the schedule, it will disappear. thanks.

Now a new problem, we schedule a plan for 1 year, and start date is 2009.12.02, but users kept it overdue in many calls. and there are all zeros for shift factor and tolerance.

plan date completion date

2009.12.02 2010.02.12(this is the first call)

....... .........

2010.05.31 2011.04.01

2010.06.30 2011.06.16 over due for 351 days.

as my understanding, this plan should be scheduled for 1 year, that is to say, call shall be planned until 2010.12.02 (maybe days ahead or later to this date).

But now, when running IP10,no work orders are called anymore, is it related to overdue?
