My Career Path with SAP!

Former Member

I got a BSc. In Commerce- Management Information Systems Major, and I am a fresh graduate of June 2011, I got a job as an SAP ERP Consultant (FI/CO module).

Yet I'm under training. My inquiry is about the following:

- Should I get certified as a:

SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4.... first??

OR

SAP Certified Application Professional - Financial Accounting with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4

as it would not be of that so much difference referring back to my academic courses???

- As a career path with SAP ERP; which would be better:

specializing in one module (FICO) .... typically should I then cover all the financial courses of SAP and its related solutions, applications, .. etc??

OR

covering two or three modules?

Thank You.

Hi,

It is always preferable to get certified in one module. As you got an offer in FI/CO module, after your trainign and hands on experience in the area you can go for Certification for quick completion

For Freshers it is not advisable to go immediate certification
