Distribute SAP HR organizational data via SAP XI

Hi,

I have to distribute the HR (SAP ERP 2005) organizational data to a SAP CRM 5.0-system via XI. Is there only one standard technology using ALE/IDocs, or are there also some other technologies available (BAPIs, ...)??

As I would need to change a lot in the IDoc and the concerned BAPIs I would to know if there are alternatives.

Hi,

IDOCs/ALE is still the most popular interface with HR

objects with ERP2005

but you can extend IDOCs with your own data

or pull it from XI (via lookup) during the standard IDOCs

processing (if this is possible/feasible) with your scenario

Hi,

3 options thru XI.

1) Use of Idocs

2) use of RFCs/BAPIs

3) use of Proxies..

Depend on the availability of the function modules in the HR side , you can think of any one of the above methods to get the data into XI. If you want to customize the BAPIs , you can plan for developing proxy interface if feasible.
