Opening closed networks to update planned cost without un TECO'ing

Hello,

I need a way to be able to change planned costs for activities that have been already user status closed and TECOu2019ed, without un TECO ing the WBS.

Hi,

Once an activity is set to TECO it gets greyed out and you cannot make any changes. You will have to cacel the TECO to make any further planning changes.

Why do you want to do this without undoing the TECO?

When Teco is set no further business transactions are permitted except the actual postings, that is why it greys out.If you want to still process that object for business then you have to undo the TECO.

Un TECOu2019ing can cause work flow (PR approvals) to be re kicked off & I want to avoid that.

If the planned cost you are monitoring is only on WBS and you dont require further breakdown or on specific network activities, then you can think of creating one more network and push the additional costs against that activity.
