Pricing for Material with composition or grades

Hi All,

I am working on a system where variant configuration now is not possible. Currently we are maintaining selling prices PR00 for material outside the system as it is based on couple of factors.

Scenario:

Material X is made of 2 elements.

X1 and Y1

Prices of X1 and Y1 changes regularly lets say every week.

Now i need to maintain the price of X in the system. Is there a way to do this without variant configuration?

Hi

For your requirement it is advised to create a new subroutine as per your requirement and assign that subroutine in copy control item level. VTLA in the feild Item Ext System.

Can you please explain the same in little detail. Since there are various kinds of grades. So we need to create subroutine for each kind??

please explain with example if possible.. it will be really helpful

In VTLA ,say for example the delivery type is ZLF and sales document type is ZOR. So select the both key combination and select ZTAN item cateogry and in the details there is a Data Transfer feild Item Ext System.As Material X is made of 2 elements.X1 and Y1 and as their prices change every week, So kindly include the logic with the help of your technical team that whenever the prices of X1 and Y1 changes then automatically the price of the material X should also get changed.So that the value flows from order to delivery and as the value should flow from delivery to billing also, so add one feild in VTFL and include the same subroutine. So that the material price will flow from delivery to billing.
