Why SO header data is still open even there's a subsequent document. SOtoOD.
We have a requirement that all details in SO should be in Display mode after the said copy and control.
As already indicated, through standard configuration, this is not possible. Either you have to add the logic in your exiting routine assigned in copy control or try with the sale order User exits in the program MV45AFZZ - USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE
Perhaps, if you can tell which are fields should not be editable so that it will be easy to confirm on the possibility through standard configuration.

You can write ABAP code to disable the field in the screen PBO inside enhancement points.
You can check the document flow in VBFA for checking whether subsequent document is created and complete.
So depending upon the state of the document, you can disable the field on the screen using code.

Dear deandong ,
Simlpe solution for your requirement is to REMOVE the authorisation of VA02 for all the users except the select priviledged users.
Check with your BASIS team and you will get more idea about the same.
