Actual work & Cost upload from Excel

Hi,

In the excution phase, user needs to enter the datas to lot of activities. It is a time consuming process.

Instead of manual input, is that possible to upload the data (Actual work, actual cost, confirmation) from excel sheet???

Also look if your requirements can be met by BATCHMAN where you could upload data from MS Excel into SAP

Hi,

You need to implement the BADI "EXT_CO_ACTUAL_DATA" to use BATCHMAN. Go to SE18 and input the BADI name as EXT_CO_ACTUAL_DATA. Click on display and then click on "Documentation". You will get to know all the details on how to use BATCHMAN.

You can also do a search in Google for "Batchman in SAP". There are a lot of threads on SDN that talk about this.

You can also go to SAP Library in the section Internal Order (CO-OM-OPA) - Manual Actual posting in Internal Orders - Transfer of External CO Actual Transaction Data to the SAP System. Go through this and you should be good to use BATCHMAN.

Hi Prabu,

As said BDC or Open PS is the best and would be a permanent solution.

You can do Collective Confirmation in Transaction CN27, where you can copy paste from MS Excel.

may assist , PLease read note on OPENPS 579761functionality

You can download the project , make changes then upload again

Try out the option of BDC. Discuss with your ABAPer about this.
