VBOF does not update records- new tables in access sequence

Former Member

Hello!

I added 4 new tables to the access sequence of rebate condition types.

The problem is, that VBOF does not see the invoices created with those pricing conditions (created on the new accesses).

Conditions are active, access was found, and no exclusion s in place.

Do you know where may be the problem? Invoices with old accesses are fine.

Thanks in advance!!!

cheers

Bea

Hello Bea,

VBOF reads the billing documents to be updated from table VBOX.

As reported in SAP note [75778|https://bosap-support.wdf.sap.corp/sap/support/notes/75778] point 1.f a billing document is updated in table VBOX depending on

- Relevance to rebate of a sales organization

- Relevance to rebate of a document type

- Relevance to rebate of a payer

- Access sequences for rebate conditions

As you wrote, you are using a new access sequence, not existing when the billing documents have been saved.

So it is necessary to rebuild table VBOX by transaction OVB3.

Attention: the execution of OVB3 makes all the existing rebate agreements retroactive. No matter the selection criteria.

So after run OVB3 you will need to run VBOF for all the rebate agreements.

Best regards,

Ivano.

Hi!

Yes, all was set up ( if new tables were not in the condition groups, I would not be able tp set up the agreement for them )

the issue was the billing index has not been recreated. now all is fine.

thanks for all input.

Hi Bea

Also check wheather any requirements have been assigned to the conditon types in the pricing procedure. While executing VBOF for Validity End Date Before feild give the Validity TO Period date which has been maitnained in the rebate agreement and then run VBOF.

Hi Bea

First of all check in the SPRO->Billing->Rebate Processing->Rebate Agreements->Condition Type Groups->Assign Condition Types/Tables to Condition Type Groups. If Conditon tables are not maintained then maitnain and run the scenario and run VBOF. If it ihas been maitnained check the following

As you have maintianed 4 new condition tables , did you maintained the access sequence with 1 (Access sequence relevant for rebate), if you have maintained access sequnce with blank (Access sequence relevant for pricing) then kindly change it

to 1(Access sequence relevant for rebate)). and create a rebate agreement and maitnain a condition record for those 4 condition tables and check in the Sales Orders and billing documents wheather it is getting picked up or not. If it is getting picked up then check wheather the S060 infostructure is in updation or no updation. If the radio button is in No Updation then change it to Updation 1 and then run VBOF.

Dear Bea,

Have you included these new condition tables in the access ?

Is there any records getting picked up, before system reaches this newly created access?

Against this condition type, is there any routine assigned?

Check and revert back.

Check whether OSS Note 75778 - Consulting/troubleshooting for rebate processing is of any help with the issue.
