Unit of Measure concern

1. If the default "unit of measure" you setup on VK11 (type PR01) is KG and your MM person also setup the conversion of KG to PACK for materials, what will be the default unit of measure that will appear on sales order form or billing form when printed? Is it KG or PACK?

2. If the unit of measure that appears on the form is KG (and this is the base unit), how to change it to other unit of measure like PACK? What is the tcode?

3. Which UOM will be printed on the sales order form? The base "unit of measure" setup by the MM person or the "unit of measure" setup by an SD person via VK11?

please help. thank you.

- Discuss with your ABAP person to check the program on which UOM is pulled and printed in the output form.

- In VK11/VK12 itself you can maintain the pricing in other units, provided that UOM conversion is maintained in the material master. Also you can check the field Sale UOM in the sales view of the material master. Once sale UOM is maintained, then the same UOM can be maintained in VK11/VK12.

3. Which UOM will be printed on the sales order form? The base "unit of measure" setup by the MM person or the "unit of measure" setup by an SD person via VK11?

- This is controlled by the output print program, so discuss with your ABAP specialist on which UOM is getting printed on the output form. If you want to change, provide the details and the ABAP person can do the required changes on the program.

Regards
