MCOD installation and system copy failed: How to restore part of db?

Hello all!

I'm in this situation:

MCOD installation on Oracle 11.2 with two SAP instance:

_Portal

_ECC

I did a system copy with Oracle procedure (restore of sapdata) but I did a mistake during procedure of re-creation of central instance of Portal.

Now the problem is that if I want to restore thw complete good situaion from source system I need to restore the whole db.. but I whant to restore only part of system about Portal and not about ECC that is yet ok and works fine.

Is there any suggestion?

I think to export sapschema of portal (I think SAPSR3DB) and import it in my target system but I don't know if it is a good idea...

thank you very much and best regards

Dear David,

The procedure for restore/recover in MCOD is described in the chapter "Tablespace Point-in-Time Recovery" of online manual

"SAP Database Guide: Oracle".

You can find it under :

http://service.sap.com/dbaora -> Media Library -> General -> "SAP Database Guide: Oracle", Release 7.00

Also check the SAP Note 399910 - MCOD: Deleting a component (ORACLE)
