Dear QM Gurs,

I want to capture some additional Data while doing UD/result recording. Can i attach a Class and enter data in its characteristics. and then use all info for reports.

In My scenario i have to make a report in which i have to take weld nos , drawing nos etc such kind off data i want to capture.

Hi,

Why cant you create an Unplanned Characteristic?

Even after an inspection lot has been released,you can create additional inspection characteristics for the inspection lot that are not contained in the task list during results recording.

Choose Create additional characteristic on the characteristic overview screen.

The screen for choosing a master inspection characteristic appears, then enter a Master inspection characteristic

You can also enter inspection results for these additional inspection characteristics.

The other option is while creating the MIC you have to set the control indicator "Documentation Required"

If you set this indicator, additional text must always be entered to document the inspection results during results recording for the relevant characteristic.
