SLD Error

Dear All,

As I am installing ECC 6.0 EHP5,I am getting following error at the time of Self Registration in a central SLD.The Error is as follows:

The SLD Server is not reachable. Choose "Cancel" to modify managing configuration or "OK" to continue. If you choose to continue you will have to execute the smdsetup script later on.

Kindly Help me out.

Hi Ajitabh,

So you chose 'Register in central SLD' option in SAPinst ?

It is OK to skip and continue at this moment, you can register SLD later and latest SMD agent can be installed later as well.

Hi,

If you are are trying to register your system to central SLD then please make sure that IP address entry corresponding to hostname must be maintained in host file of the server.
