Not Able to Create a Process chain

Hi SAP Techies,

I am facing a trouble in creating a process chain .

When I am trying to create a process chain New Process Chain dialog opens.

when i enter the Process Chain name and a Long Description and Click the Enter icon.

I get the following error

Namespace '/BIC/' must be set to 'change'

(transaction SE06)

Please help me with what could be the possible issue .

Hello,

Go to SE06 --> System Change Option --> Mark 'Global Setting' as 'Modifiable' in text box drop down --> Menu --> Edit --> Namespace Modifiable (it will make all the namespaces as 'modifiable' for the system)

If you want to make only a particular namespace as modifiable then scroll through 'Namespace/Name Range' section to find out the namespace '/BIC/' to convert it to modifiable.

It would be as 'Business Information Warehouse: Customer Namespace' with Prefix column name as '/BIC/'. Make it modifiable by choosing the option from drop down.

It was a Basis Issue.
