Favories toolbar missing in layout view

Hi experts,

when creating a view on the layout screen, I have the toolbar missing (the one with the favorites, Active components, Adobe and so on... ).

How to make this toolbar visible?? am a beginner in web dynpro abap. pls anyone help me out

Hi Aishwarya,

You can still add UI elements by right click on ROOTUIELEMENTCONTAINER and then select option "Insert Element". It will show all UI element available.

You can also crate ui elements in ROOTELEMENTCONTINER.. Right click on this select insert element.. you will

get all list of ui elements.

thanks. i have created a view container element, wen i exec it shows it is not defined. i have declared it component ctrller and in view also.

Hi Aishwarya,

After creating viewcontainer ui element, go to windows and embed your view in viewcontainer.

What error you are getting exactly. pelase more clear about your requirement.

thanks. I got my issue cleared. It was the problem with ICF nodes which were inactive.. now its resolved. Am able to work even without the toolbar. Its working fine.
