Adapter module

Hi,

When writing custom adapter module

we will create ejb and ear files and deploy ear file on java engine,but my question is apart from standard modules,who will write the custom module code is it java developer,he will give the code and we need to paste that code and deploy ear file in java engine

Is this correct experts

Hi Pooja,

Ideally, the custom code for adapter module should develop by PI consultant. If business code that need to write within the adapter module then you can always take a help from java developer. For java develper it's very easy to write a ejb program and bulid .ear file.

If you get a .ear file, ask your sap basis guys to deploy it in the server and provide jjb jndi name of the adapter module in the module tab of the communication channel and start using it.
