Zero Points - SDN account

Hi,

I've awarded plenty of posters with "points" in recent weeks and I was told I would get one point each time I did this. Is this correct?

I'm still sitting on zero points so not sure if something is wrong with my profile? I have even given points as "Solved" and marked the thread as "answered"...still no points.

Thanks

Shaun

Actually, when I click on "Forum Points" it takes me to Profile Contribution Points page and says I have 9 points...which sounds about right. But in the forums (to the left of this message) it's saying I'm on ZERO.

Anyone know why?? Thanks.

Yes, both your points are correct.

When ever you mark a thread as solved you get 1 point assigned to your profile.

But it will not be shown in the forums below your name.It will only be shown only in your profile.

Hi Agent,

When you will reply to some one's question with a good answer and he will assign you Points for this answer, then these points will appear under your name in Forum.

Hope you got my point.

Thanks and Kind Regards,

Faisal

Adding to Gautham's reply, these points show under tab "additional points" in the contribution overview.

<redundant information removed>

Anyway, whatever you do, don't do it just for the points

Thomas

Thanks everyone, that makes sense.

Shaun. You should try to take questions. That's a better way to get points.
