partial batch quantities

Hai,

I have a batch received into 'quality inspection' stock via 04 insp type against a Process order for 100litres. All 100 litres were stocked in 3 different tanks-tank 1 with 20 litres, tank 2 with 30 litres and tank 3 with 50 litres.

All 100 litres have one batch and one inspecton lot.

Now, if I want to block tank 1 and tank 2, but release tank 3 for further use, how can I achieve this by tracking the individual tanks as well?

We have ECC6.0 with PP-PI, QM, WM and Batch management in place.

How are you differentiationg 100 ltr to 3 dif tanks? Are you doing partial conformation for each tank?

If you are doing partial conformation then customize ur batch manag peace to create diff batch for each partial conformation..So system will create 3 diff batch and insp lot in system. One for each tank. Now you can release 2 inspection lot (batch) and block 3rd one.

If you don't want to do partial conformation or 3 diff batch then it would be very diff to track qty of each batch..You can simply post 50 ltr to unrestricted and 50 to blocked one, but u will not have tracibility qty belongs to which tank.
