Hi!
We are planning to install ABAP and Java parts of WAS on different virtual machines. Is it possible? Some people say it is. Where can i find some documentation about it?

Sorry, i must adjust our situation. We want to install XI. But we havent enough RAM on virtual machine. Therefore, we hope to install ABAP and Java parts on different machines.
I found this in <b>High Availability Guide SAP XI 3.0</b>:
Usually, all the central SAP XI components are installed on one host. This is the default
installation variant for an SAP XI system, as described in the SAP Web AS ABAP + J2EE
Add-In section of the SAP XI 3.0 installation guide It is only recommended do not use the all-in-one approach to install SAP XI in certain cases. Such non-standard installations are not covered by this guide and should be discussed with an experienced technical consultant before implementation.
Have somebody any ideas about it?
