Tracking budgets and actuals

Hi experts,

I am new to PS module so could you please help me and guide me on "How to track budgets and actuals in the construction phase of any project? "

Thanks for your reply. Could you tell me what all settings are mandatory for he same. Like we check on the availability control to make sure the budgets dnt exceed the assigned cost. i have idea only about the AC. could you guide me on the same giving a scenario as an example.

SAP provides many reports that compare budget vs actual value such as: S_ALR_87013558 - Budget/Actual/Commitment/Rem Plan/Assigned

Assuming all setting have been done correctly and the data have been entered, you can use that report to monitor the cost of your project
