Data Volume Management - Self Service - how to trigger?

Hello,

Initially, I tried to set up the Data Volume Management Cockpit and it didn't look bad at all, but now, as of (Sol Man 7.0 SPS23), Data Volume Management Self Service is available and I want to generate such a report to see if the content suits our requirements.

I started reading OSS Note 1487247 and all the prerequisites are met in our system. But I could not trigger the creation of the report.

Please advice.

Hello,

Have you created the Self Delivered Service Session in DSPW > Service Plan > Self Delivered Services

Create > SAP Data Volume Management?

Thre should be a data colelction tasks

ST14 is used.

What actions have you taken besides preparing the system?

Hi Paul,

I did the steps you mentioned in DSWP.

Now, service SAP Data Volume Mgmt has status "in process". Session "DVM BestPractice" has workbench status "Initial".

I assume that I need to trigger something to start the process?

What should I see in ST14?

I only prepared the systems to be ready for DVM.
