PI - renaming of roles in PFCG but what on the Java-stack?

Hello,

we have out own naming conventions for authorization roles on the ABAP stack, but are not familiar with how this all works on the JAVA stack.

In PI we renamed the SAP_CI* roles and assigned them to our users. But the effect of using the copy or the original role is different, e.g. we cannot export design objects from the ESR when using the copy, but we can when we use the original role SAP_XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER.

If we copy the roles in PFCG, do we have to take additional action on the java-stack?

Once you have copied the authorization roles on ABAP stack you have to do the Role Mapping in the NWA (Netweaver Administrator).

Basically you have to look for the Standard Role in NWA, download it, edit it according to your naming coneventions and upload it again.
