SAP easyDMS error

Hi,

Of late,for certain users,we are experiencing an error in SAP easy DMS(7.1,SP2) which reads "Classification data can only be maintained with change number" whenever the user is attempts to save the DIR.

This previous [thread|; has discussed this inconclusively.Have tried out the recommended approaches without success. ECM has not been turned on in our landscape. No issues for these users in SAP R/3 DMS unlike easyDMS for the same scenario. Further, superusers can sucessfully create DIR's in easyDMS, issue only with regular users(which hints at Auth. issue).

Also, do note that the moment 'class type' and 'class' parameters are nullified/not maintained,regular users are able to create DIR's in easyDMS.Its only when these parameters are present, the above error occurs.

Anyone has resolved this? Appreciate inputs.

Resolved.

Solution: Modified existing role assigned to users with following inputs:

1. Addition of Object S_USER_GRP with ACTVT=05

2. Maintaining value KLART=201 in object C_TCLA_BKA

P.S What still beats me is the fact that this issue crops up only in easyDMS and not in SAP R/3 DMS!!
