Device type HPLJIIID does not support page format DINA 3

Hi all ,

I am working on cheque printing ,so for that i copied the standard script .size of the page is less so i changed the page format to DINA3 ( in basic settings ) .previously it was DIANa4.when i test the script in F-58 its showing the following error message

'Device type HPLJIIID does not support pageformat DIANA3'.What would be the problem here? please help me out.

Hi,

Firstly, DINA3 is for a larger paper size than DINA4. See below:

A3 297 x 420 mm

A4 210 x 297 mm

A5 148 x 210 mm

You can see which formats are supported by device types via transaction SPAD as follows:

SPAD -> Full Admin -> Device Types -> <Device Type> -> Formats

DINA3 is not supported by deivce type HPLJIIID. It is supported by device type HPLJ5 or HPLJ4000 so you could use one of these device types to print if you want to use DINA3 page format.
