Pls guide me on how to make tax classifcaiton optional in SAP ECC Server

Hi,

While creating customers from CRM, I am encountering the error message

"Check tax classification; maintenance is incomplete", after the data tries to replicate to ECC.

Checked the SAP Note_1602618 - Error F2 269 Check Tax classification, maintenance incomplete

SAP Note_0000504169_Different data models in R3 and CRM

As per the above notes, we get the error when the Tax classification is made mandatory in ECC.

We would want to make the tax classification mandatory in CRM instead of ECC .

Pls guide me step by step on how to make tax classifcaiton optional in SAP ECC Server .

Hi,

Goto OBD2 transaction. Select your account group and double click on it. Now double click the billing group. Make taxes and licenses as optional entry. But the best practice is to keep it as required.
