RFC connection is not open for J2EE framework extractor

Hi All,

I'm configuring EWA for PI system (abap + java) and the EWA for ABAP is generated successfully but JAVA data is missing in the EWA.

Basic setup, managed system setup for PI completed successfully, all green and when i troubleshoot, and found out extractor framework for J2EECORE and adapter engine with the error "Error opening RFC connection" but no further information given.

Do you have any idea what's the RFC it mentioned? is it the DAA from managed system (PI) to solution manager?

fyi, our solman is on EHP1 SPs27.

Also, i would like to know more how's the extractor works since the /smd/services is changed where i can't find the schedular anymore. How to schedule the session immediately? is it via btc job E2E_HK* ?

i've checked all relevant notes such as troubleshooting CBDC and cube *PE2H and *P2ED is not exist when check using tx Listcube.

Hi Expert,

I managed to progress further and currently i'm facing the only error which is "adjust_model_mode: no authorization to read a DMD instance" by SMD_RFC.

What authorization is it talking about? DMD instance? something map to SMSY?
