Hi,

Can you please tell me if BPM in the Netweaver stack is the same as Integration Process in IR?

And what is Business Process Engine?

Thanks in advance

Business Process Engine is abap stack that is part of Integration Server of PI. PI uses ccbpm for all the bpm related needs. SAP BPM will be replacing current ccbpm in the future releases of PI 7.3 +.

Use Integration Process Editor in IR /ESR very similar to process composer to create integration process components.

In PI, BPM is nothing but ccBPM also referred to as Integration Process.

The business process engine is where the Integration process is executed.

Hi,

I got your point. Thanks so much.

But can you explain me how it is related to workflow as provided in the document like any exaple scenario link.

And also what is process composer, process server and process desk as given in link below(like where in IR and ID)

Thanks and regards,

SAP NETWEAVER BPM is different from ccBPM

NW BPM will become part of PI only in PI 7.3 and above. SAP is looking to replace the ccBPM functionality with NW BPM and post 7.3 Hopefully ccBPM will be completely migrated to NW BPM.
