Exclusive lock files

Hi experts,

We are using NWDS 7.2 on CAF and WD development. Since we have 5 developers working concurrently on the same project we decided to avoid CAF merge doing a manual lock on CAF metamodel file (ca_model.cafmm) every time somebody is editing it. Sometimes the developers forget to make this manual lock causing problems on merge (our ca_model.cafmm has about 2,5GB).

Is it possible to configure this file to be locked (on NWDS or on DTR server) every time one's editing it?

We are using the exclusive lock on NWDS, but we want to force the lock on DTR. Is it possible?
