My company uses a proxy server to connect to the internet. I have made the necessary settings in Window>Preferences>Workbench-->Proxy settings in Netweaver Developer Studio. But I can deploy and run a web dynpro application only if I disable the proxy on the browser. I contacted my administrator and he says that the proxy settings on Visual Administrator has been set. Is there anything else to be done apart from this?
Thanx for ur reply. These links that u have provided are mainly for using web services. But Im talking about simple web dynpro applications. When I try to run them, I have to disable my proxy server. If the proxy server is enabled, I get an error message saying Web Service not found.
in internet explorer go to tools->internet options->connections->lan setting-> advanced-> there u will be having IP of internet write down the IP of ur Portal server apply it & save .
Then u dont have to enable/disable proxy, u r net services as well Portal sever will work properly.
