Warranty and gaurantee

Hi,

I have defined class type and characteristics. and i configured master warranty in BGM1. After that when i have checked material in mm02( classification tab) i am unable to find the class type (039). How to assign class type 039 in classification.

Gaurantee configuration in sap:- Please tell me the configuration steps.

Hi,

You need to assign

in SPRO> Cross application components> Classification systems> Classes> MAintain Object types and class types

Select MARA and class type and assigne your class (039) there .

Complete all relevant assignments in the node "Classification systems" , then you can find your class in T.codes: MM01/MM02/MM03

Hi sir,

When creating a service notification i am getting a warranty check but i am getting an error like" A Contract could not be determined". Could u please help me out in solving the issue. I have to select the contract.

Is this the sequence of creating:

Material creation

characteristics for material

class creation(039)

assign class to the material

contract creation

master warranty creation

serial no creation

equipment creation

service notification with reference to contract

billing request

billing

Is this the sequence.. If it is wrong please send the correct sequence.
