Rule for determining default value for deliv. creation date and >90days

Hi,

I have a question with regards to the u201DRule for determining default value for deliv. creation dateu201D on VL10B, VL10H, and all the VL10x.

This value has the following rules:

u201Cu201D-All Up To Maximum Number of Days

1- Due for shipment today

2- Today and tomorrow

3 -Due for shipment by the end of next week ( past-due delivs)+

4-Due for shipment tomorrow (includes past-due deliveries)

9-User exit

At the moment it is only possible to see what is due for delivery from todays date and 30 days forward by choosing the blank rule

Question:

I am wondering if it is possible to look up what is due for delivery from todays date and 90 days forward?

I cannot find any in the SDN forum with regards to my question.

Thanks

Tuff

Yes possible. Go to VL10CUC and change the field MaxDlvCrteDate to 90 and save. Now check in those TCodes.

Hello

If you select/change indicator "CalcRuleDefltDlvCrDt" " Blank " insteaded of " 2 " (default one), then on pressing Enter button from the keyboard for the confirmation of the action, you can observe following message :

Message no. V50R027
Selection criterium "Delivery creation date" redefined acc. to new rule

And the Deliv. Creation Date is reassigned to a future date. Generally system propose a date one year from the current date in date to field.

Thus, if you want see change in the range provide >90days in to date field for your requirement.

Hi Prakash,

Thus, if you want see change in the range provide >90days in to date field for your requirement.

By that I want to convey that

Std behaviour of the system:

Deliv. Creation Date

<Blank>

to

11/10/2012

CalcRuleDefltDlvCrDt

<Blank>

For your requirement, you can maintain as,

Deliv. Creation Date

11/10/2011

to

11/01/2012

CalcRuleDefltDlvCrDt

<Blank>

Hi,

Actually there is one way of changing the setting in the "MaxDlvCrteDate" field in the delivery profile on the User Role tab.

Question 1:

However, I don't know this change will impact everyone and is it safe to do the changes like that?

I don't understanding from the SAP F1 help on following statement:

Name of profile for generating a delivery list

A user role contains fine-tuning controls for processing delivery lists. Technically, the user role is referred to as the list profile.

You can use the delivery scenario to find a user role, which may even be user-specific. You can change a user role manually and override individual attributes on the User role tab on the selection screen for documents to be delivered.

Question 2:

How to make this changes only impact certain person?

Thanks
