Start Up Problem while opening the NWDS-2.0.9

Hi All,

i have one issue with NWDS.I am trying to open the NWDS its showing the popup saying that

"Problem During the StartUp,Check the .log file in the “.metadata” directory of ur WorkSpace".

I did the uninstallation and as well as reinstallation for NWDS.

Please give me the solutions as early as possible.

Hi

when u uninstall NWDS kindly do delete all ur workspace also move u r exercise or projects to some other folder as when u install again NWDS it will take the same workspace. SO plz delete complete workspace & uninstall NWDS then reinstall it , as i faced myself same problem i resolved it in this way.

You might try

- option "-clean" to rebuild plugin cache

- specify a different workspace using "-data <workspace-location>"

- option "-consolelog" and look if an exception occurs during startup.

Try to install in a different directory eg. JDT_09 and run it.

Hi Lavanya,

delete the .log file or delete .metadat folder and restart the IDE.
