Hi Experts.
I'm working on SRM 7.0 with MDM Catalog integration, my question is:
There is a way to hide the password defined in the standard call structure, where is defined the external web service for the MDM catalog.
Any Suggest?
Thank you
Roberto
Hi
There is no way to hide a password in the Define call structure.
It is a SPRO configuration for the end users this authorisation can be restricted.Since Users will be using only SRM 7.0 portal
You can leave a blank password in SRM and well as in SRM MDM catalog.

Hi,
now it is possible to mask the password in the call structure:
implement the note 2017651 and 2222356 if it is relevant for you.

Hi Roberto,
As per the previous response, there is no specific means by which the password is hidden, another option would be to introduce SSO type signon to the catalog but this means ensuring that each user used is also existing in the catalog. Generally though the service user used for catalog call structure should be given very minimal authority in the system anyway, just what is required for a standard employee. You could also probably handle the passing of user id/password more dynamically using the BBP_CAT_CALL_ENRICH BAdi.
