Real field with 6 dig. and 2 dec

Hi

MDM 7.01.06

In a country spec. info table we have a price field in "real"

the import value 135366,64

after import 135366,60

The decimal paces are = 2 in the field detail

why are the second decimal place = 0

and why can I not change it manually?

Hi Kurt,

Data Manager guide says-

Real1 Real Number Float Float (16) 4-byte real field.

1 MDM supports real numbers containing up to 7 significant digits.

So it makes sense why you cannot add any integer post the 7th digit and why the data being imported into this field is getting truncated.

Making this field as text can help.
