Online backup RC1 - advise

Hello masters,

New question coming up, and thanks for all those are replying. I am learning lots of news things from you.

Anyway, back to business,

I have full and incr backups finishing daily with RC1 on my STBY prod Db.

It is not a problem, but the customer wants to have them finished with RC0.

BR0056I End of database backup: begyqije.fnr 2011-10-10 00.38.59

BR0280I BRBACKUP time stamp: 2011-10-10 00.38.59

BR0053I BRBACKUP completed successfully with warnings

BR0286W Size 1677729792 of file /oracle/SID/sapdata1/temp_1/temp.data1 is different from Oracle file size 1530929152

Can you please advise ?

Hi Jordy,

Try to alter datafile size, as below;

ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE '<Data file full path>' RESIZE '<New datafile size>';

Try to refer the Note 17163 - BRARCHIVE/BRBACKUP messages and codes, for the error code BR0286W.

Since it is your standby DB, refer another similar problem thread -

What is BR*Tools version ?
