Transportation planning not carried out for shipment 0000001296

While creating a Shipment cost document for a shippment document 1296 , System is throwing the error message like Transportation planning not carried out for shipment 0000001296, Can anybody give resolution for this issue ?

Hi,

While creating shipment document in T.Code: VT01 we need to log in the status of the shipment document.

In the deadlines tab, there are buttons

Planning, Check In, Loading start,Loading end, Shipment completion.

You need to click each button and maintain execution Date and time.

Once the shipment completion, In processing Tab Overall status shows green light.

Only after this you can carry out shipment cost VI01.

for the shipment cost document to be created it is necessary that the shipment document must have the overall status as Planned complete

and as per the message its known that the planning is yet to be completed in the shipment document

to do so you need to go to the item details level and find the tab where in you get the option of completing the planning status
