Range in Condition Record (VK11)

Dear Expert,

Details of requirement.

In Vk11, when the value of the condition is not in particular range( 3-10 %) then the condition record status should be blocked.

Can this can be achieved in standard SAP or by any custom development.

You can put 2 level of status approval for your document type but the first solution meets your requienment and your can do it with VOFM with the help of Abaper

Dear Chander ,

Maintain the condition type under pricing limits in the configuration.

Here in the configuration you can specify the upper and lower percentages.

Now when we save the condition record below or above the limits, system will throw an ERROR.

We don't want that error, what we want is the condition record should be saved in Blocked status and then it should be approved by concerned authority.

Can this be achieved with help of standard or custom development.

Chander, yes this can be done by using pricing limits... Pls search the forum on how to setup/ use pricing limits.

Hi Raghu,

I can set the Limits in OVb2 for Condition type and when i mainatin condition condition record outisde this limit it will throw error.

Requirement is: Condition record should be saved with blocked status once maintained outside the limits and then should be approved by the concenred person.

Hello Chander,

As explained above, OBV2 is the solution closet to your requirement. But it can only throw an error while maintian Condition Record.

Now your requirement of Condition record should be saved with blocked status once maintained outside the limits and then should be approved by the concenred person. cannot be achieved with SAP Standard & you will have to go for ABAP development thru Enhancements.

Explain your requirement to your ABAPer person & he can do this Development with some inputs from Basis person (for authorisations for Concerned person)

Dear please go through OVB2 and have good knowledge about It.

go to vk11 and in screen maintenance select line item then select details from menu Goto or press F6.

you can view the screen where you can maintain price limits
