Popup message in portal (Session manager will not work)

Hi Champions,

Again need your help.

From portal when user are giong to iShop tab it popup's a message (Session manager will not work ! please check the DSM log file for details, You can turn off this alert inside Support desk -> SAP Application)

This issue occur's both IE7 and IE8.

Note : This issue occurs for few users , Not for all the users.

Dear Niladri,

Genarally the NW04 Portal will throw Session Management Alerts whenever an application is accessed via a content server (ITS or WAS)

1. Within another DNS domain or

2. Using Another protocol between the ITS and the Portal.

For detailed information on the Prerequisites and corresponding Workarounds kindly follow SAP Note 596698

Please also double check Domain Barrier Problem as described in SAP Note 632440.

Non-adherence to these prerequisites are usually the reason that these messages occur

If you are sure that you have diligently followed all prerequisites

and you would like to deactivate Session Management Alerts persistently

go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Service Configuration -> Applications -> com.sap.portal.appintegrator ->

Services -> Common_Configuration,

there AlertSessionManagementMismatch set it to "false" as the settings of this service are used when the Portal is restarted.
