Application Migration from Windows to Linux

Hi,

I'm in mid of migrating my existing application that developed in NWDS 7.0s. The application is a J2EE with WebDynpro. It also have a Servlet program to handle the http transaction. The J2EE application will have JCO to call to R/3 system for further processing.

Existing application running well in Windows environment. Now they changed to Linux environment. As known, for the coding wise, not required any changes. Just only in the application it has a manual way of logging. The path I need to change to Linux environment.

Other than this, is there any changes that I need to be done in order to make sure the application running well in Linux environment just like in Windows.

Thanks.

From application percpective, nothing is required and it will work perfectly ok. There might be the chances of bit problem with look and feel.

Thanks,

Not sure about this, but I think you will need a new license for the new architecture. I'm assuming that it is already included in the migration procedure if required.
