Hello Arvind,

Do you obtain any error message when trying to access the portal with that user? Does the problem occur to eveyuser?

Regards,

Blanca

Please login to useradmin with administrator user( http://<; host name> :<http port>/useradmin) and check whether the user is locked or the user have proper authorization to log in.

Then, open the server defaulttrace from the portal (usr/sap/.../cluster/serverX/log) and search for the error "Authentication failed", it should contain details about the error (password incorrect or whatever...).

May be you have the 2 ids one is backend portal id mapped from ABAP backend system and other portal id directly created in portal. Delete the id directly created in portal and login with ABAP backend id and password,

Hi Arvind

are you able to login into Portal eariler?

Please check whether your portal user source is Back-End system or LDAP connected.

if it is LDAP then use your N/W userid credentials.
