Hi ,

Performed http trace and seen the below

+ 0.000 2.614 0 0 GET ERROR_INTERNET_CANNOT_CONNECT * https://hostname:8390/sap/bw/BEx?sap-client

Is this a connection error from portal to BI system?

Where do we need to check further for the exact cause?

if the problem with host name ..Should be it changed in WAS connection,ITS or iview?

Please guide

Hi,

First is the link working independently say in a browser?

If yes, then maybe there is a conenction issue between the EP server and BW server.

If not, then the link is wrong. Correct the link as this should point to the https port of the BW server with valid client number as well. Once the link is identified, this needs to be updated on the EP. It would be the SAP BW alias definition in the Portal. Check the system properties in System Administration.
