can I use

Windows 7 for server

+

SQL Server 2008 for database

for installation of SAP ERP 5.0???

what is the right platform for SAP ERP 5.0

Please advise.

Hi,

First, do you mean SAP ERP 2005(SAP ECC 6.0) or SAP ERP 2004(SAP ECC 5.0)?

Windows 7 cannot be used for either of the above as OS.

For ERP 2005:

Windows 2003/Windows 2008 with SQL Server 2005/2008 would be the option

For ERP 2004:

Windows 2000/Windows 2003 with SQL Server 2000/2005 would be the option
