O/S : HP Unix 11.31

Database : Oracle 10.2.0.2

I have configure oracle dataguard for Testing for QAS server.

what to do with transport request which are release to QAS.

We need to synchronize /usr/sap/trans folder with DR server ?

Because when we activate DR server nothing on DR's trans directory.

Hi,

No, you need not to synchronize /usr/sap/trans folder because once you will import the transport request in your system same will be applied to your DR server with the help of archive log files.

Thanks

Dear Sunny,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, it will be imported in DR server.

But when I activate the DR server I have to use trans directory of DR server.

Presently I have configured DR for our QAS system and in our landscap DEV and QAS are on same server.

In STMS configuration two groups are already created as GROUP_DEV and GROUP_PRD. In GROUP_DEV two system

DEV and QAS is defined.

For testing I have activated DR. I have change the STMS Configuration. I have only change the name of the server. All RFCs are also changed automatically as I have change the server name in STMS config.

But newly relased transport request are not copied in DR server. I have to manully copy it to DR and import. After import also this request is not transfer to PRD.

Best Regards,
