PCo 2.1 integrating with PI

Hi,

I have downloaded and installed PCo 2.1 on MII 12.1 server. I am trying to connect to a PI Server (a different machine). When I create a Soruce Channel of the connection type 'PI Agent', I get the following error -

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation

{Could not load file or assembly 'OSIsoft.PISDK' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.}

Is something missing here? Can somebody explain?

Do you have the PI SDK installed on the server running PCo?

HI Expert,

do you have any news about this issue? Currently I'm facing the same problem.

I'm working with :

• Windows server 2008 r2
• SAP PCO 2.3
• PI SDK Install Kit 2012 (64 bit) -> version 1.4.2.445

I got the following error when I try to create a source system as "PI Agent" in PCo:

Can anyone give me some suggestion on how to resolve this issue?

Hi,

Please uninstall the 64bit PI SDK and install the 32bit version. PCo is a 32bit application and cannot read the 64bit binaries.
