SAPINST stopped at IMPORT ABAP step

Please help if you can

sapinst showing the following error:

An error occurred while processing option SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4 Ready - Support Release 1 > SAP Application Server ABAP > Oracle > Central System > Central System( Last error reported by the step: Program 'Migration Monitor' exits with error code 103. For details see log file(s) import_monitor.java.log, import_monitor.log.).

in import_monitor_java.log , i get the following:

Loading of 'SAPAPPL0' import package: ERROR

Import Monitor jobs: running 2, waiting 21, completed 4, failed 1, total 28.

Import Monitor jobs: running 3, waiting 20, completed 4, failed 1, total 28.

at the end 26 were imported successfully, 1 with error i.e. SAPAPPL0 and other one is waiting

In SAPAPPL0.log I get the following:

(RFF) ERROR: invalid checksum in data file "/media/sap/install/nw701/51036902/DATA_UNITS/EXPORT_5/DATA/SAPAPPL0.001"

current table was "SMIMPHIO"

(DB) INFO: disconnected from DB

Hi,

yes, damaged file definitely.

I think you should copy fully the installation files from DVD/CD (Make sure the installation media is downloaded fully) into local disk, and run the installation locally.

You can compare the checksums (you may use a freeware tool such as 'md5sum')

and compare both checksums from source and targetfile

Hi,

It looks media that you are using is corrupted. Please download the media again and then try.
