PM Module - Cost Estimation

Hi,

I was wondering how estimated / planned / actual cost is calculated in IW31.

We have got an order with 01 Operation and 5 components.

The cost tab shows some values and i would like to know how are they calculated.

Hi,

1. Estimated Cost is something u can enter manually before releasing the Maintenance Order.

2. Planned Cost gets calculated based on the operations hrs, components entered in Operation/Component Tab of IW31/IW32.

3. In configuration for a combination of Order type to Plant u give Planned and Actual Costing variants.Each of this variants r responsible for cost calculation in Maintenance Order, for Planned cost - Planned cost variant is responsible

4. In each of this costing variant we mention the Valuation Variants and this valuation variants tells from where the cost needs to be picked, here we mention from where labour cost has to come, from where material cost needs to be picked, generally for operation labour hrs , per hr rate is picked from KP26 , component cost from MM02 - Accounting Tab
