customer grouping

Hi all,

My requirement is grouping customers based on sales person,

such a way that x sales person should not see the y customers,viceversa...

any suggestion and solutions pls..

While you can go with the suggestion already given, I am not sure how far it would be successful such that sales person A should not see the customer data of sales person B.

I think, you have to go with a suitable exit to control this.

Create sales person as a partner function in VOPA and assign it to customer master. You can make the partner function unique.

Then, while you are creating customer master you can enter sales person there. In this case, you can enter only one sales person to a customer.

If this is done and then if you create a sales order, the sales person will automatically come. I dont know if you can configure this partner function is non-editable, as I am not in front of the system. If this is possible, youcan do it. Else you can do the same in an user exit in SO creation.
