Hi Venkat,

Make sure that the environment variable "auth_shadow_upgrade" is not set in the environment.(No such environment variable should exist, neither in system nor in user environment).

If it is set, delete it and reload the environment using the command "ntenv2reg" and restart the shadow instance.

Then repeat the phase in EHP5 upgrade.

Hello Venkat,

Please, increase the value of the parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time. This should allow you to proceed.

I hope this helps you.

rdisp/max_wprun_time is a dynamic parameter set temporarely to 0 (unlimited) in RZ11 and re-run the step... if it still fails then you know that its not related to dialog wp timing out.

Hi,

I don't think so this error is related to workprocess run time. Could you please check if any job is failed in SM37 ? If yes, then please check ST22, SM21 and job logs for details. Please also paste logs here.

Thanks

Hello Sunny,

yes i have observed at SAP level, after getting error by ehpi it is giving dump at sap level as STORAGE_PARAMETERS_WRONG_SET

below parameters set in the system:

em/initial_size_MB=512

abap/heap_area_dia=4000000000

abap/heap_area_nondia=4000000000

Whats your box specs?... This must be an issue with memory tunning.

Have you runned a sappfpar check?, whats OS and size of Physical Memory you got?

Juan

Hi,

The problem is you have not fine tuned your memory parameters. Please analyze dump that you are getting and optimize these parameters as per resources you have on the server.

Thanks

Hi,

Please check the RFC in question. There seems to be timeout while trying to read the RFC.

Also check logs in 'REPACHK.LOG' file and post errors.

Varun
