Dear Gurus,
I have installed Mobile Infrastructure (MI) on an Windows 2008 Server machine
During the installation it said that this version of Os is not supported but I went ahead with the installation as PAM suggested its compatible !
Now i am getting the below mentioned error
OS release Windows NT 6.1 7600 8x AMD64 Level 6 (Mod 26 Step 5) is not supported with this kernel (710)
Any suggestions?
Please advice

Hello,
Windows NT 6.1 -> is Windows Server 2008 R2
Please note the WIN 2008 R2 Version was released officially for few month ago and they need the latest kernel version - the installationskit contains still the older version. So you have to update kernel to the latest one -> after that please restart the system. (You need update the ABAP and Java-kernel too).
I hope this helps you.
Regards,
Blanca

Yes Blanca the problem is resolved by upgrading the kernel to latest and re-starting the entire machine
Thanks once again for your time and inputs

Yes, Blanca.... I also just read about that. Infact if I recollect it properly, earlier version of ECC 5 or 6 had similar problem and we had to update the kernel to latest to solve it.
Nevertheless, many thanks for your time and inputs. Will award points if the "kernel upgrade" works well for this issue
